What About My Kids?

Your children are your most precious gift.  We realize this and take very seriously their safety and security as well as your peace of mind.  Said in a slightly different way, your children are important to God and to us.

Jesus loved the children.  He encouraged his followers to allow them to come near to Him.  We love them also!  Every person who works with children and youth must pass a criminal background check before they begin their ministry.

In order for parents to fully engage in worship we provide the following: 

Birth - Age 2 ~ We offer a well staffed and brightly decorated nursery during Sunday School through the end of the second service.  There are plenty of beds for napping children, a paging system to alert you of any needs and toys for the children to use.  Each child is provided with a basket for their personal belongings.  Rest assured that your little ones are in a safe, secure and loving environment.

Ages 2 - 3 1/2 ~ This active group of children are provided with a loving group of adults who allow them time to play as well as providing short lessons throughout their time with them.  Our staff is available from the beginnning of Sunday School through the end of the second worship service.

Ages 3 1/2 - 5 ~ Following Sunday School these children are taken to the sanctuary for the first half of the worship service.  In worship, they participate in the Time With the Children and then go back to their classroom.  This allows them a chance to experience worship with the rest of the congregation.  By going back to their classroom, parents are more able to focus on the message of the morning.

Age 5 - Kindergarden ~ These children participate in the second worship service up though the special Time With the Children.  They are dismissed for Children's Church every Sunday except the 4th Sunday, of each month when they remain in worship.  This allows your children to be a part of the full worship experience on a monthly basis. 

Grades 3 - 5~ Remain in worship with their parents for the entire service.

Special Note:   
Although there is no nursery care provided during the traditional worship service, the nursery is available for parents who need to go there during the service .  There is a closed circuit TV available so that parents can care for their children but still view the service.
